Katharina Probst, Hannah Eyob, Lukas Frontzkowski, Carla Palleis, A Jäck, Alexander Maximilian Bernhardt, Sebastian Niclas Roemer, Sabrina Katzdobler et al.. Nuklearmedizin - NuclearMedicine, 2026-04-01
Topic: Amyloid, tau and blood-test diagnosis
Why it matters
This study compared quantitative amyloid and tau PET measures with visual reading and spinal fluid biomarkers in a real-world clinical setting, finding good agreement and establishing cutoff values. It is a diagnostic validation study and does not test any treatment, cure, or prevention.

How this study scored 32/100
Published in a peer-reviewed journal. Scored zero for study design, effect reported and randomised / blinded because the record does not state it. We have no data on senior author's track record, so that was left out: it earned 31 of the 96 points we could judge it on, which is 32 out of 100.
