Clinical trials
Every Alzheimer's trial in our copy of the ClinicalTrials.gov registry — completed, running and abandoned. Filter it, then follow the link to the official record.
If you are thinking about joining a trial
A listing here is a record that a study was registered. It is not a recommendation, and it does not mean the study is still recruiting or that anyone is eligible. Registry entries go stale.
Talk to the treating doctor first, then contact the study team listed on the official ClinicalTrials.gov record. The NIA's free referral line can help you look: 1-800-438-4380, weekdays, English and Spanish.

Where these trials come from
- Registry
- ClinicalTrials.gov, pulled through their public API (v2)
- Trials in the file
- 7,816
- Source file
- trials.csv (3.8 MB, 7816 rows)
- Basis
- Measured These are registry records as submitted by each study's sponsor.
What could make this misleading
Sponsors enter their own data and do not always keep it current, so "recruiting" can be out of date by months or years. Enrollment figures may be targets rather than actual numbers; the downloaded file says which for each trial. Trials that were never registered do not appear at all, and the intervention class is this project's own grouping, not the registry's.
Always check the official record before acting on anything here. This is a summary, not medical advice.
From the research library
The highest-scoring studies we hold on this subject, each summarised in plain English. Scores are alzhub's usefulness score, not a verdict on the science.
