Our review summarizes the diagnostic accuracy of plasma and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) phosphorylated tau 217 (p-tau217) in detecting amyloid and tau pathology on positron emission tomography (PET).
-
CSF tau368 concentration was not significantly different across the diagnostic groups, although a modest increase was observed in all groups as compared with healthy young individuals (all P < 0.01).
-
Alzheimer's disease biomarkers are primarily evaluated through MRI, PET and CSF methods in order to diagnose and monitor disease.
