# Sources Index — alzhub.org research library

Every URL below was actually opened (directly, or via the `r.jina.ai` reader proxy when a
site blocked automated access) and its content read before any fact was extracted from it,
per the project's honesty rules. Grouped by source type. Cross-reference with
`studies.json`, `news.json`, and `stats.json` for the specific claims each source supports.

## Notes on verification method

- Sources marked "via r.jina.ai" in agent reports were retrieved through the `https://r.jina.ai/<url>` reader proxy (with a curl User-Agent) because the origin site blocked direct automated fetches.
- Two items rely on corroboration rather than a direct full-text read of the primary source (flagged explicitly in `studies.json` and in `RESEARCH_LOG.md`): the Nedergaard & Goldman 2020 *Science* glymphatic review (paywalled even via proxy) and specific percentage figures from the Lancet Commission 2024 results table (PDF fetch confirmed the risk-factor list and methodology but not every downstream percentage independently).
- A number of leads were found via search but could not be opened/verified and were excluded outright; see `RESEARCH_LOG.md` for the full list per research track.
